we've been developing a site that uses one google map as the base and yesterday we realised that the iphone can take phone numbers off a page and dial it so immediately realised how useful that could be to some of our visitors but being in ibiza getting hold of an iphone to test if the site actually works is proving to be a tad difficult
i'm going to do a mini version specifically for iphone users (without using user agent detection) but we wondered if anyone has used an iphone on other existing google maps mashups and how they perform? (not using the built in maps api on the phone) also if anyone fancies testing www.ibiza-now.com for a minute or 2 to see if it works on an iphone - we'd really appreciate it - if it fails badly then would anyone suggest we *do* use browser detection to redirect ? we're trying to get an iphone but we have no idea how long its going to take to get one shipped out thanks ade ........................................................................................... www.ibizaA-Z.com & www.ibiza-now.com Ibiza NOW - The Islands Magazine Google Map of Office Location: www.ibiza-now.com/location/ --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "iPhoneWebDev" group.
