Alright, I have been dealing with this headache for a couple days now,
and I think I have zeroed it down a bit.

To start, I invite you to check out Case 1 in the URL below.
Everything seems pretty standard, you can rotate the iphone, the width
changes appropriately, and the font stays the same size. Exactly what
you would expect to happen. No problem here.

Next check out Case 2. Identical page structure, except I duplicated
the p tag. On orientation change from portrait to landscape, you
should notice the font get bigger. When you rotate back, it still
stays that larger size.

Next we look at case 3. This time I added a small style tag in the
head to force the font to be 22px, or the new size it changed to on
case 2. If you rotate from portrait to landscape, no font change at
all. It performs how it should.

Finally we get to case 4. This one is identical to case 2, (so default
p font size) but I added an h1 at the top for a title. When you rotate
from portrait to landscape, notice how the p changes size, but not the
h1. Very bizarre.

Anyways, I find this bug very unacceptable as it makes designing for
both portrait and landscape very difficult.

As a footnote, I did try searching for others who may have found this
bug, but due to it's complications, I didn't find much.

Cheers,
Amadeus
