I think LDAP (Windows) authentication would be a function of whatever backend you choose to work with instead of with the iPhone itself or are you talking about an SDK app? With a Webapp I would use LDAP authentication in PHP or ASP to work with the Windows Auth server. For that matter, even with an SDK app you can probably just use a web backend to access the auth server.
