The status remains the same: 1 app at a a time.

There are no plans to support Flash, Java or Silverlight in the new
phone or in the SDK. Part of the problem is the poor performance of
these devices with processor greedy solutions such as Flash. What we
may see before Flash gets to the iPhone is the support of HTML 5 next
year in WebKit (you get SquirrelFish rendering engine, SVG, MathML,
CSS 3, and a boat load of other features). My guess is that we won't
see support for this until iPhone 3.0 when we can expect significantly
improved SOS hardware.
