I've seen the same bug as well. What I've noticed however is that if
you are link to an href that's not the same as your current domain, it
works perfectly fine.

So:
<a href="iphone.mydomain.com/site/about" target="_self">click me</a>

will you grief where as:

<a href="http://www.mydomain.com/site/about"; target="_self">click me</
a>

works on one click.

I'm not sure why this behaves as such but it sure is annoying bug.
Anyone have any good work arounds?
