If you are talking strictly Web Apps (not a native apps!) for iphone,
you can probably get away for a while without buying a Mac. ASP.NET is
perfectly capable of generating iPhone-compatible web pages.

Since you do have iPhone itself, you can test your web apps there.

Safari for Windows is your best bet for debugging your web app on a
Windows desktop.
