I think you're going to need some local javascript and have to display
the page natively (objective-c) in a webviewcontroller.

I know that the quickconnect addon for dashcode has a method that lets
objective-c pass values to javascript, or its pretty trivial to write
one yourself. If you use java I think you could do something with
icefaces too. Because of security I don't see anyway that just a
webpage itself would be able to get at the information.
