I am building an iPhone web app that deals with contact information from a remote database. Is it possible to create a link or button that would read a URL, or session variable, that contained contact info and save this information to the users iPhone?
I've seen it work on the iTouch with phone numbers in my app. When i insert a tel link the iTouch obviously cant dial the number because it is a touch, but, it does ask the user if they would like to save number to existing contact or create new contact. How do i force this behavior and tell it what data to use. Thank you for your time.
