You can download XCode and the simulator for free. You start having to pay
money when you want to build to devices and distribute your code. I would
love to hear whether Camtasia works well with the simulator. I suppose there
is no reason it shouldn't but I've said that many times in my life and been
surprised by some arbitrary limitation or another.
