I downloaded the latest firmware yesterday. 3.1.2 (7D11). Geolocation worked immediately with the fresh install. The location was the coordinates of GOOGLE in Mountain View, CA!
This morning it has correctly found me within 200 meters. Not bad for a device with no GPS and no cell connection! Interesting, when I first tried to use my webapp with geolocation in it, it asked twice if it was OK to use Location Services. I am guessing you have an error in your code. Send us a link or a copy and we can check it if you like.
