When the background colors are the same, it appears more like an
iPhone app.  The demo pages with the demo background colors I admit do
look ugly. I also realize that it is only mimicking the sliding
behavior between pages.

Again, it is a hybrid app and not a web app.  If I decide to target
the different screen size, I would need to write an app for Android.
It would be a simple thing to change the CSS to fit the screen size if
I decided to do this although at the moment, I don't have plans for
this.

No landscape in this app.

Same as for Android.

Do you know how to solve the problem of a 500 page book and the
navigation between the pages without a navigation bar and using the
standard back/foward buttons of a browser while using one of these
frameworks?
