Probably just personal preference, Spring is great too.  I like the delegate
approach in Wicket (for handling requests), I'm an XML, and by extension
XHTML fan, so Wicket's approach to page layout works well for me.  The Ajax
support is reasonable in Wicket as well.  I started web development in PHP
and J2EE simultaneously, not sure if that has an impact on my preference for
Wicket.  I'm liking Lift too, but it is not as mature as Spring or Wicket,
plus it means learning Scala.
