Finally figured this out.

1.  Bring up Object Inspector for the Image part
2.  Click the bindings button in Inspector
3.  Expand "visible"
4.  Set:  Bind to: Collection
5.  Select the Key Path with the property from the dataSource that is
supplying the "src" url for the Image
6.  Set:  Null value: false

Now if you have a dataSource that is providing the URL for the image,
and the URL is null then the image won't be displayed.  So whats the
point of all this?  If you have an Image part but no image set, when
you select the row in the edge to edge list, you can see the outline
of the image object and this looks tacky.
