I'm about to create an app that is supplemented by YouTube video playback. I've been reading about using Javascript to make sure the video can be played back (I don' t know JS). To many of the articles mention Flash or IE, which are irrelevant to me.
1. What have you come up with to test whether the device can play the video (to test for wi-fi connectivity, for example)? 2. Is it better to use the html5 <video> tag, or YouTube's <embed> tag? Sample code would be appreciated. Thanks, Steve -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "iPhoneWebDev" group.
