Will do, Sean. Yesterday by the end of the day I was able to get our app
up-and-running with header and footer, but there are a few glitches I'll
have to iron out and I had to tweak an iPad-specific height setting in the
CSS. I'll take a look at the checkpoint-before-ipaddevcamp, that will
probably require tweaking fewer ipad-specific things.

I think you're right that for the long term we want a single container div
and the iScroll code (or something like it) handling vertical transitions
and the iUI code (or something like it) handling horizontal transitions.

Check the new wiki page and the CHECKPOINT-before-ipaddevcamp tag.  That 
tag is just before we started adding iPad support and we've take a step 
back before we can take a step forward...
