Hi, I'm working on a web app with offline functionality, and have things working pretty well in mobile safari. I am now working on getting it going as a web clip. I have a custom icon and get it added to the home screen, and if I'm online and click the icon it loads up and shows the login screen. If I log in, everything works fine. However, if I switch to another application, and then click on the icon again, the session information appears to get lost/cleared, as I am redirected to the login page again. Doing a similar sequence of events using mobile safari yields the desired results, where the session is maintained, and I remain logged in. Is there any way to have a web clip behave in the same manner, so that I won't get redirected to the login screen every time I click on the icon?
Interestingly, if I open the web clip, then turn off my wireless connection, and open the web clip again, it behaves properly, allowing me to continue to use the app in offline mode. Once I reconnect to the wireless connection and go back to the app through the web clip, I get redirected to the login screen. Any help would be appreciated.
