That's definitely one subject for this list, but we are definitely free to discuss mobile webapps/sites that have non-iPhone interfaces as well.
In native iPhone applications like the Photo app, you can go to the “previous” and “next” item (sibling items in the hierarchy) via a horizontal finger “swipe” event (you would hide Safari’s back and forward icons). Unfortunately, this hasn’t yet been implemented/supported in the iUI framework,
Peter, I did hack some swipe support into the iScroll branch that you could look at. ;)
