The trick I've seen most often (and it's employed by iUI in some places) is to scroll down to the first pixel of the site - the javascript is "scrollTo(0, 1)" (scrollTo is a global function of the window object). This is used in iUI twice (at least in the <http://code.google.com/r/msgilligan-iuiscroll/> iScroll branch) - once directly and once inside a setTimeout. -- peter From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Jonathan Hawkes Sent: Wednesday, June 23, 2010 11:40 PM To: iphonewebdev Subject: Hide the URL bar in Android Webkit This doesn't seem to work in jqTouch or iUI. But I know it's possible because it works on my Droid when I go to deviantart.com . Anyone know how to do it?
