Since we are talking php I'm going to assume mysql as well. What you need is and ORDER BY clause in the query to sort your pubs however you want. Next the query needs it's result set limited LIMIT 20,10. 20 being the number your results start at 10 being how many to return. So link URL looks kind of like all.php?start=20&count=10. With this link and the above additions to your query if you have 40 pubs in db you would get back pubs 20-29 in the order your sorting them. There is much info on the web about this basic mysql and php stuff. Just google it. Hope this helps.
