I was just looking through Remi's iUI site (http:// www.remi-grumeau.com/labs/iui/) and I was messing around with his gradient "theme".
Remi, how is your theme different from the defaultgrad theme in Hg?
I added press effects to normal and blue buttons so as you press the button, it changes to a darker gradient. I've uploaded the updated file here: http://www.zylka.us/uploads/default-theme.css
Sounds cool. Do you have an on-line demo?
And no, the naming of the file is not incorrect - I strongly suggest that the iUI 4.0 release should include this file as the default theme (probably with little improvements/ tweaks) because it gets rid of / almost/ all images.
I created the defaultgrad (default theme using gradients) with the intention that it would someday replace the current default theme. There's seems to be a good amount of community interest around this idea. I'd love to see someone head up getting the defaultgrad theme ready for prime time. If someone commits to making this happen in a Mercurial clone, I'll pull it into the main repo and make it part of the next beta release. Once we get feedback from beta testers, I'm open to making it the default theme in the 0.40 release.
On another similar note: does anyone have a webkit generated backButton yet? That would be one of the last groups of images be CSS generated.
I'd love to see that too. Note that there are two SVG backbuttons images sitting in the repository: http://code.google.com/p/iui/source/browse/#hg/web-app/iui/ext-sandbox/t/svg Direct links are here: http://iui.googlecode.com/hg/web-app/iui/ext-sandbox/t/svg/backButton.svg http://iui.googlecode.com/hg/web-app/iui/ext-sandbox/t/svg/backButtonSqCorners.svg -- Sean -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "iPhoneWebDev" group.
