Matthew,
iUI is an alternative that doesn't require a mac and doesn't package an App Store application, but rather a regular web app that you can access with mobile safari. You can look at the Getting Started tutorial <http://www.iui-js.org/docs/getting-started.html> or this slideshow <http://slideshow.rubyforge.org/mobile.html> to see if it's the sort of thing you're looking for. -- peter From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Anthony Papillion Sent: Monday, September 13, 2010 10:41 AM To: [email protected] Subject: Re: First app Matthew, Check out Titanium Developer. You'll need a Mac as it compiles using the iPhone SDK but you can create native apps with this solution using nothing more than HTML/CSS/JavaScript. www.appcelerator.com It can be tough to get up and running sometimes but the support team is excellent and will generally walk you through it if you have problems.
