the event listeners in JavaScript are

ontouchstart
ontouchend
ontouchmove
ontouchcancel

use them instead of setting an onclick event listener.

Sometimes Dashcode can be our friend. If you want to know what event
listeners are available for an Element you can open it up, create an
element of the type you are interested in, and examine the information
window to find the possibilities.

BTW, there are also gesture events.
