I couldn't figure out the exact issue that was causing the scenario, however I solved it by replacing my iui.js file with the condensed version off of the Trekbikes.com/i/ website. One other thing: the scroll to top issue was only happening in safari and on the iPhone. It was working fine in firefox. Both iui 4.0 dev 2 and iui 3.1 were exhibiting the issue. Anyways it's fixed now but I couldn't say why. Very weird.
