All,
I am having trouble to get
ipmitool to work on Solaris9 Sun Netra-CP2300 machine.
I installed
ipmitool-1.8.8-solaris2.10-sparc. But, I can't seems to get anything to work at
all.
[fbp05]-> ./ipmitool -v mc selftest
No hostname specified! ipmi_lan_send_cmd failed to open intf No response from devices [fbp05]-> ./ipmitool -I open -v fru
Error loading interface open [fbp05]-> ./ipmitool -I lan -H 10.6.3.6 -v
sdr
Password: Get Auth Capabilities command failed Get Auth Capabilities command failed Error: Unable to establish LAN session ipmi_lan_send_cmd failed to open intf Get Device ID command failed Unable to open SDR for reading Is there something I need
to configure (intf) before it works ? How to confiure a intf port if all I want
is reading local (the server itself fru) infomation ?
