By default it seems to not be built with debugging symbols (CFLAGS=-g
-pipe; COPTS=${CFLAGS})
Since you're running an RPM system, get yourself a copy of the
ipmitool-blah-src.rpm and fire up "rpmbuild -b SPEC"
