Skimming through the code, it seems there has just been a timeout.  That
the remote node isn't accepting any packets allowing you to activate SOL
(btw, that's just a 10 second skim of the code, someone may know
better).

What hardware is this?  Some vendor's don't quite have compliant IPMI
implementations.
