Experimenting with ipmitool, I found that it's possible to turn the active
tty into non-echo (and whatever else) mode:

ipmitool -I lan -U root -P changeme -H 10.100.201.19 tsol
[Starting SOL with receiving address 10.100.200.91:6230]
Unable to perform TSOL command: Invalid command
Error starting SOL

Any subsequent keypresses are no longer echoed, and CRs are ignored
on output, resulting in stairs text. stty sane doesn't cure, only
reset (the command).

This is using a CVS checkout on September 18.

Has this feature been fixed in the past two weeks?

Cheers,
 Steffen
