There's not test suite I know of that uses IPMItool directly. Intel's
ICTS (http://www.intel.com/design/servers/ipmi/tools.htm) and Polaris
Network's ATCA Test Tool (http://www.polarisnetworks.net
<http://www.polarisnetworks.net/> ) (formerly owned by ESO) might meet
your needs.

IPMItool have a lot of commands to talk with IPMI BMC, it is difficult
to run all of these command to validate.
