Hi, I am planning to add a patch to lib/dimm_spd.c to change the data request size from the current 32 bytes to 16 bytes. Many of the DIMMS SPD modules aren't able to return 32 bytes and so the fru print request fails with 'Request data length invalid' for them. The other data requests in ipmi_fru.c have already been bumped down to 16 bytes for the same reason. Anyway, I just wanted to make sure no one objected before I went ahead and made this change. BTW: I'll also be adding more JEDEC definitions for DIMMs at the same time so more DIMMs will get actual info printed out for them. :-) If I don't hear any objections, I'll add the patch later this week.
