Hi Eric, Thank *you* for your continued interest in and support of making ipmitool better! :-) As was proposed several months back, we're long overdue for a version roll and anyone with patches they'd like to try to get into the next release ought to get them posted asap. For various reasons, it would be important to complete the roll by the end of July. If you have some patches you'd like to have reviewed in time for consideration for inclusion in this roll, you should probably try to get them posted to ipmitool-devel pretty soon for review (ideally before the end of this month). After we're done reviewing and committing outstanding patches, we'll be in the pre-roll test cycle and it'll be harder to get something in without increasing the risk of breakage. Also, the bigger the patch, the harder/less safe it'll be to get it in at the last minute without increasing the chance of breakage and therefore the more likely it'll be to have to spend some time in the cvs tree before landing in a release. What were you hoping to get in and how long do you think it'll take to complete your patch? Thanks, :-) Carol P.S. I still have one more (short) batch of patches/issues to list -- will have it posted soon. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Check out the new SourceForge.net Marketplace.
