I have observed many BMCs that fail to implement that feature correctly. However, in theory, it works. It works on all of the BMCs I test, but I have seen some other vendor BMCs that do not work.

I'm trying to send break+H (which is equivalent of sysrq+H) to Linux console. When I'm doing that over serial console it works well. When I do that over ipmi sol console it doesn't work at all. ~B in ipmitool sends break signal (at least it says so), so I do ~BH.
