hi all, I have used the following steps to assign IP address and turn on the interface in my dell poweredge 1850 machines.
ipmitool lan set 1 ipsrc static ipmitool lan set 1 ipaddr 10.10.10.1 ipmitool lan set 1 netmask 255.255.255.0 ipmitool lan set 1 arp respond on ipmitool lan set 1 arp generate on ipmitool lan set 1 arp interval 5 ipmitool lan set 1 user ipmitool lan set 1 access on The 2nd machine is 10.10.10.2 I can't ping 10.10.10.1 using host 10.10.10.2 . What might be the issue?
