Tomasz, The BIOS can use either port for serial console redirection, as long as the chassis exposes that serial port. The BMC is connected to a default port (A or B) for IPMI serial connections. This primarily matters for IPMI serial commands, as in IPMI Terminal Mode. The BMC can use either port for IPMI Serial-Over-LAN.

Now I wonder how BIOS Console Redirection works fine on Serial Port B in my configuration. Do you think I sould change it in BIOS to Serial Port A now?
