Hi Johnny,

I had two solutions for this:

1. If you don't have multiple ppc architectures, you can make symbolic links 
(powerpc-e300c3-linux-gcc -> ppc-linux-gcc etc.)

2. If you do have multiple ppc compilers, then you must tune the file config.sub
