Hi Johnny, I had two solutions for this:
1. If you don't have multiple ppc architectures, you can make symbolic links (powerpc-e300c3-linux-gcc -> ppc-linux-gcc etc.) 2. If you do have multiple ppc compilers, then you must tune the file config.sub Good luck, Ciprian Badescu --- On Tue, 1/5/10, Johnny Hung <johnny.hack...@gmail.com> wrote: > From: Johnny Hung <johnny.hack...@gmail.com> > Subject: Re: [Ipmitool-devel] ipmitool cross compile > To: "Ciprian Badescu" <ciprianbade...@yahoo.com> > Cc: ipmitool-devel@lists.sourceforge.net > Date: Tuesday, January 5, 2010, 7:19 AM > 2010/1/4 Ciprian Badescu <ciprianbade...@yahoo.com>: > > Hi, > > > > I did this some time ago, I remember usual > cross-compile procedure was working for me: > > > > ./configure --host=ppc-linux > The compile I used for ppc is powerpc-e300c3-linux-gcc, > powerpc-e300c3-linux-ld, etc... > so how to pass the as, ld, gcc, ar, etc...?
