Rahul,

To view this, you can use 'ipmiutil lan', which displays it by default.
On my system it shows:
   Lan Param(11) grat ARP interval: 04 : 2 sec
You can also use 'ipmiutil lan -e -w 5' or similar to set it to 5
seconds, for example.
See http://ipmiutil.sourceforge.net for source, rpms, etc.

Or I guess you could use a raw command to show it in ipmitool, if you
wish.

I'm confused. So, it should already be set to "some" value right out
of the factory, correct? Because the machines are already issuing
gratuitous  ARP packets. I'm just not sure at what interval. Do you
know what defaults Dell ships these machines out with? Before I play
with the interval I'd like to know the existing defaults.
