The only unusual thing about this motherboard is that its IPMI IP and MAC are shared with the OS, rather than separate. So make sure that the IP and MAC match those used for Linux eth0.
There are a number of IPMI LAN parameters that need to be set other than the IP address. Try the script at /usr/share/ipmitool/bmclanconf or at contrib/bmclanconf in the ipmitool source tree as a starting point. Or, with ipmiutil, the command 'ipmiutil lan -e -p""' will detect and configure everything that is required.
