Hi:
I am interested in using libipmitool for a project, and would like to have the
library built as a .so instead of just the libipmitool.a. Is there an easy way
to make that happen? I tried adding the --enable-shared option to my configure
cmdline, but that did not change anything.
It seems like libtool is generating the pic .o's (I get a .libs directory with
.o's), but I can't seem to figure out how to make it link them into a .so.
I'm a libtool newbie, so apologies in advance if this is a dumb question.
