Right now, as far as I know, the ipmitool sol / tsol / isol interfaces are
dumb terminals, not vt100. What would it take to get vt100 support in ?
For instance, when the system on the other end of the sol session is
rebooting, you are supposed to type <F2> to get into the BIOS Setup
screens. But since sol does not support <F2> (a vt100 key), the user must
know to type <Esc> 2 .
If sol had a vt100 support option, then they would be able to use the <Fn>
keys directly.
