Hi, Has anyone experience with double bridge requests in ipmitool? My problem comes most likely not from ipmitool, but to be sure that its a problem of one of the controllers in between, it would be nice to know if anyone is using this feature successfully.
My observation: Command reaches target but the result is not reported back. ipmitool reports the reception of the bridge acknowledge, but not inner (bridged) message content. Remark: there had been changes in this part of ipmitool version 1.8.15 and the 1.8.16-cvs thus I would really like to know if this part is known as functional before I start digging deeper. I also noticed that I had to set the local IPMB address by and to 0x20 in the new version of ipmitool, as its autodetected to 0x10 (which is wrong). But here we have actually two local addresses anyway...
