not sure i got what you mean, but anyway...
we have served a couple of IETFs, USENIX and Internet2 conferences,
a lot of conferences/offsite meetings in Japan by using
3ffe:50[17]::/24 and 2001:{18,20,24}0::/35.
honestly, we do not really renumber from these temporary prefix to
permanent ones, we just tear down these temporary prefixes and the
conference network goes back to IPv4 only. (i'm using my laptop
as the router for the segment, so the connectivity goes away as
soon as I go home...)
