Hello folks,
Here's the revised edition of my draft on the security concerns of routing
header and home address option. These could potentially concern *every*
IPv6 node.
Unless comments are very ipng related, I think most followups should go on
mobile-ip.

Title : Security of IPv6 Routing Header and Home Address
Options
Author(s) : P. Savola
Filename : draft-savola-ipv6-rh-ha-security-01.txt
Pages : 17
Date : 26-Nov-01
All IPv6 nodes must be able to process Routing Header [IPV6] and Home
Address [MIPV6] Options. With these, packet filter access lists can
be tricked (among other things) as the destination and source
addresses, respectively, are being rewritten as the packet traverses
the network. Some of the security considerations of these features
are analyzed, and a few possible solutions presented.

NOTE: The mail server at ietf.org can return the document in
MIME-encoded form by using the "mpack" utility. To use this
feature, insert the command "ENCODING mime" before the "FILE"
command. To decode the response(s), you will need "munpack" or
a MIME-compliant mail reader. Different MIME-compliant mail readers
exhibit different behavior, especially when dealing with
"multipart" MIME messages (i.e. documents which have been split
up into multiple messages), so check your local documentation on
how to manipulate these messages.
Below is the data which will enable a MIME compliant mail reader
implementation to automatically retrieve the ASCII version of the
Internet-Draft.
