Can you provide some concrete example and how this would be useful in applications ?
A node with 2 interfaces, configured with global addresses. The 2 interfaces have different properties (fast/slow, free/expensive,...) and the apps knows about that. The App would like to say something like "All things equal, prefer interface X".
