Hi all, at the previous IAB Smart Object workshop Tero gave an interesting presentation about a minimal IKEv2 implementation suitable for constrained embedded devices. He also documented some thoughts in an IETF draft: http://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-kivinen-ipsecme-ikev2-minimal-00
Since Tero's code was written in Perl and not used on any real-world embedded system platform it raised a number of questions about the code size, performance, etc. In case someone of you had gotten further experience please consider attending the workshop.
