While I am sure that some researchers will shout about their CRQC from the
mountain tops, I would think that others will remain mute for years.
(They might even continue to publish papers about how hard a CRQC is, hoping
others will pursue wrong paths)

I doubt that there will be a Q-day ;-)
We just need to be ready already.
The overlap will be unfortunately long.
