No my mistake. An internal user can send a message to a external user without any
problems! It's the external user trying to send a
message to an internal user that it gets stuck in the log directory. I just tested it
out. It seems since the external user is not
able to see that the internal user is online the message that they send is put into a
queue until the internal user logs out and
logs back in. Only at time does it get delivered.

Very strange- Any ideas as to how to fix this problem?

Yesterday I was able to able to chat with an external user and everything seemed to be
working fine (except for the external user
not being able to see the status of those on the public list)

Now when I try to send a IM to the external user or if the external user tries to send
a message to me (on the inside of our
firewall) the message gets stuck in the log directory on the IM server and won't
deliver to the user until the logout and log back
in. Then they get a message saying that they received a message while offline.

What gives with this?
