Feature request for the
Ipswitch folks
For whatever reason let's say
that a client is in a spot where a firewall can not be modified to
allow 5177 or 5178 traffic in or out.
I was wondering if something
could be done to maybe allow the client to adjust want port it uses and the
server could also be adjusted? Many places will allow traffic on 8080 or maybe
8383 if the IM server and client could be changed to run on those ports it would
reduce the need to have an administrator of a firewall change the settings to
allow 5177 traffic. Most firewall administrators are very reluctant to make
changes to their firewalls that they manage.
