I've been reviewing the forum but would like some clear and concise
answers before proceeding...

I had been using the evaluation version of IM (v 1.0) and have purchased
the registered version. (The eval expired over the weekend and people
now realize how much they depended on it when it was available.) I'm
using the IM in an intranet environment, so NAT issues are not
applicable.

What is the proper method for transitioning both the server and clients
to the registered version?

I assume I should install v 1.01, which would require uninstalling v 1.0
first, rather than 'upgrading,' right?

Since I am using an IM database for users, is there an 'export' feature,
a file or registry hive I can copy so I do not need to re-enter
everyone's usernames and passwords as well as recreate the public
contact list and groups?

And what about the clients? I will need to uninstall the existing
client and then install the new client because the option to force
update is not available with the eval version, correct?

Thanks for your help!
Scott Huber
