Hi everyone -

I've got an issue that I've not been able to figure out, so I thought I'd
ask the group to see if anyone has had any luck.

The IM server that I've set up is using NT Authentication. The reason for
this is because we have about 250-300 potential users and I really don't
want to manually to add 300 people to the contact list. Nor do I want to
sit and add a new user to the group every time someone is hired. Using the
existing user list from our domain, in my mind, is the easiest thing to
manage.

The drawback is that users cannot immediately use the list presented to
them generated by the domain user list. Or at least I haven't figured out
how to immediately use them. I tested all this during our evaluation
period. So, what users have to do, is create their own user list manually.
Not a big deal, it seems, until recently. We've rolled this application
out to our help desk, which consists of about 15-20 people. What they've
asked is if it's possible to create a list of the whole Help Desk team,
maintained by one person, and then export this list to all other member of
the team that they can then import.

I've looked through the registry on the server a little, and I can
formulate a way to export and import the keys, but it'd be a fair amount of
work and there's a chance to mess something up.

So my question is: Has anyone determined a way to export and import user
lists for mass distribution? Is this even possible?

Thank you for your time.

-Todd
