While I'm not 100% certain of what you're asking for, I'm going to take a
leap and guess that you're having to deal with spam problem. Trend Micro
has a solution - "IMSS" - which I believe stands for InterScan Messaging
Security Suite. At any rate, we were demoing the SPS (Spam Prevention
Service) which marks suspected spam as "Spam" in the header. When passing
the e-mail to the IMSS server, that application would then take actions
based on rules that you define. In theory, you could set up rules that
affect bounced e-mail as well. You can find more information at:
http://www.trendmicro.com

Hope this helps.

PS - the demo of the SPS application went great. Too bad the funds weren't
available.

In Imail 8.03 ? 2003.09.16.12

We currently offer shared hosting, using Imail as one of our solutions for
mail. There are approximately 2000 domains hosted on each server with an
estimate of someplace around 10,000 user accounts total. Given the large
volume of bounced mail for unknown users, the upper management of my
company would like a solution for dropping bounced mail instead of actually
bouncing it. Similar to moving it to /dev/null on a *nix host.

This would have to be done on a system wide level as performing at a domain
level would become extremely arduous even if scripted.

Does anybody know of a way this can be done?.

Thank you for your time,
