At least on the ethernet circuits that I have worked on, terminating to a Cisco IOS-XR router, you don't need to shut/no shut the interface. You can use "clear ipv6 duplicate addresses ten0/0/0/0" to clear the duplicate indicator and allow DAD to try again. Andy Koch
